Hello dear Loresmyths!
I hope everyone has been doing well since the last time we spoke. We are back with some happy news, and my gosh do we need some lovely news for a change right!
Look at this beaut.
Remarkable Cults pledge shipping underway for USA & CANADA
After what has seemed an eternity we can finally confirm pledges have started shipping for USA and Canada, from our partners at Nord Games + Flying Cloud (Baltimore).
They have started shipping out both Wondrous Expeditions Forests and Remarkable Cults simultaneously and expect to have processed the majority of pledges within 1-2 weeks.
Remarkable Cults pledge shipping for Europe, UK and Other starting soon too.
The European and UK pledges for Remarkable Cults are being handled by Shipquest in Germany/UK. They are currently finished sending out all Wondrous Expeditions Forests pledges, and then are able to move to ship Remarkable Cults packages. We chose to fulfill Wondrous Expeditions Forests first, because those backers have been waiting for the longest, so it only felt fair.
We expect Remarkable Cults packages to start shipping for EU/UK around end April, but we can't know for sure until we've got confirmation from Shipquest. We are pushing them as hard as we can :-) Other countries including Australia, New Zealand, and Asian territories will happen a little later, as the products are still in transit to those warehouses. We will keep you informed of the progress.
"Cults" pretty much delivering on time as planned
I was curious and looked back at our Kickstarter campaign and noticed that the original estimate for delivering the physical Remarkable Cults book was February 2022. So we didn't get delayed a whole lot, given the circumstances in the world we are pretty damn proud of this. I think many creators would be happy with delivering only 2 months later than the original estimate. This has been the smoothest product development and delivery to date. A benchmark for the future for sure, if the world and third-parties don't let us down :-)

Having said that, I like to thank everyone again for being so understanding and patient. I think we can safely say that the pandemic years have made things super difficult, and we will likely experience the lasting effects of it for some time longer. What matters is though, we are extremely proud of how this project turned out and it gets delivered however difficult things get. We really work hard for our customers.

Small Shortage of Dice Bags & Bookmarks
We have heard from the warehouse that in some cases they didn't have enough dice bags and bookmarks. It seems in a warehouse move, some items got misplaced or otherwise missing in action. If your pledge arrives with one of these items missing please reach out to Robin from support by mailing to [email protected] and we can get you a partial refund, a replacement item, Backerkit credit, or another suitable solution you like.
Remarkable Guilds Kickstarter Last 10 Days
Our brand-new Remarkable Guilds Kickstarter is going strong and is in its last 10 days. If you have not backed yet, consider doing so. It truly helps support our company, so we can continue developing awesome roleplaying products. We are revealing another one of the ten guilds later this week, so plenty of exciting things are still to come!

Digital Maps Pack Download & Shipping Update

How are you doing? I wanted to let you know that we have the digital maps download pack ready, and you should be getting an email from Backerkit with the download link.
Digital Cult Headquarter Maps
It took us a while to make the digital files with and without grids. You already received your Remarkable Cults book PDF a while ago, but now you get the separate files of the maps too to use in your VTT software or print them. The ZIP file link has been distributed using Backerkit, and you should be getting an email about that shortly.
Note: We are looking into potentially using our own digital file distribution system on Loresmyth.com in the future so that customers have a chance to get all their items in their account, as Backerkit is not always the most convenient when it comes to sending files. This is something we may try with a future campaign, to work out what works best for you backers and for us as the creator.
Enjoy the maps! We really like how they've turned out. Special shout out to the artist: Jon Pintar from Arcane Studios!
EU/UK Physical Pledge Shipping Update
We know things have been silent on this front for a couple of weeks and it bums us out big time. We have been working since summer last year to get our books manufactured and stocked in our hubs, and boy did the pandemic (and now a war in Europe) make things extremely difficult.
A while back our goods landed at Shipquest and we updated you on this. However, setting up a new client integration with them has been taking much longer than we anticipated. I know this is also a learning curve for us Loresmyth as we cope with the growing pains of being a bigger company, but I also definitely think Shipquest dropped the ball a little on this front. We've heard nothing but good things about this company and they work with big clients, so for now we remain hopeful we can get things operational with them. We are pushing daily to get things moving, and hope to be able to bring you good news soon.
USA Physical Pledge Shipping Update
The new books and ancillary products for both Wondrous and Cults have arrived at Flying Cloud in Baltimore this week. Nord Games is now working to get both projects lined up for fulfillment. So far, Nord Games has never let us down and we are confident to get this going soon. We will keep you posted with some photos when the first packages are going out the door.
Remarkable Guilds Kickstarter Going Strong!
Our new Remarkable Guilds Kickstarter launched a week ago and it TOOK OFF like a fireball. Thanks to everyone who has pledged already, you are amazing. We funded in less than 30 minutes thanks to all day-one backers. We also revealed a couple of the ten guilds from the book, and unlocked many stretch goals. Cults Shipping Update & Big New Video

Hello Loresmyths,
I hope you are doing well. As you likely have heard there is a war going on in Europe, and it's the weirdest most surreal thing having to type this. Surely after Covid has started to wane a bit I was ready for happier times, but the world is currently in an escalating state of turmoil.
Since our Wondrous Expeditions and Remarkable Cults campaigns ended up overlapping so much I am basically posting the same update in this post, excuse me if you are getting it twice from backing both projects.
Shipping Update
So I know everyone is super anxious to hear when you are getting your packages. I know it's been a long wait and I can only say our team continues to work every week to try and get things arranged. At first, a pandemic caused many delays and when you think things can't get worse, a war conflict disrupts things further.
ITS CLOSE! We are awaiting the green light from Shipquest as well as Nord Games to start sending packages. We know the products arrived at Shipquest already a while back and we reported this to you so why haven't packages been set yet? Shipquest is a new partner and it took us some time to set up the account, legal matters, backend connections, and more. It was more involved than we initially thought. That process is now done, and we are basically awaiting their OK that they have begun sending packages. We will of course post that here once we get the message. For the USA, Canada, and everything "non-EU" we estimate that packages start sending in about 2-3 weeks from now.
REFLECTION - We have worked tirelessly from the summer of 2021 (!! no joke) when Wondrous was first submitted to the book printer, to get you our physical pledges in time for the next Kickstarter launch. We even canceled a Kickstarter out of courtesy and increase our chances of delivering late last year. No one could ever, ever, ever have predicted that things would get disrupted so much and continue to be. I can only apologize and promise to keep communicating clearly as we have been doing. I know this is beyond our control, it still hurts letting customers down, and we are grateful that most of you are still so patient and understanding.
Big New Video On Why & When we Launch New Kickstarters
This video took me quite some effort to put together (somewhat coherently haha) and it's a lengthy one, but I really believe it's important to spend some more time explaining how we creators operate, and why it makes sense to launch new crowdfunding campaigns when we do. And surprise, it's not about being greedy, but because our development teams can't sit idle for 5-6 months while we wait for goods to get printed and shipped. And in the case of last year, who knew this idle period could turn out to be even longer!
So with this context in mind, I really invite you to watch this video in its entirety, and I promise it will be super insightful and fun info! I really hope you enjoyed this different type of video.

Hello dear Loresmyths!
Hope everyone is staying safe and enjoying their roleplaying games. We are back with another update, packed with a variety of good nuggets!
We have confirmation that the Remarkable Cults books are on their way via ship to Baltimore in the USA. It is estimated to arrive next week, after which the goods are stocked into our USA warehouses. Our teams are already preparing to fulfill the physical pledges as soon as things have landed and sorted into the warehouses.
Last year was TENSE but my god, are we happy with how this book has turned out. I don't know about you, but I think the Remarkable Cults book (together with Wondrous Exp. Forests) is just the most beautiful thing we've produced so far. I am proud of Loresmyth, but I also want to say thanks again to YOU, all our backers for making this possible. You touched my life, my family, and many others through your support and patience!
To celebrate our upcoming Remarkable Cults Kickstarter (yes, it's been a year already phew!) we are giving away some very nice prizes. All you have to do is visit the Gleam page and enter. All info is on the link below.

Meet Ennia, the enigmatic leader of the valiant Bardic Company of Living Tales. These traveling bards have formed a powerful guild, that quest to chronicle and retell ancient fabled tales and legends. Powerful performers and storytellers, but equally renowned for their magical ability to bring the legends of yore back to life... The artwork is by Jens Kuczwara who has been a constant force on all our recent books (Wondrous Ex Forests cover art, Cults interior color spreads) and he continues to make amazing artwork!

Guilds Campaign Page Preview
Always nerve-wracking but I can share with you the campaign page (WIP) for Remarkable Guilds. Check it out, provide feedback where you see fit. We are still working on it to get it perfect for March, but we are sort of ready to show it to you :)

Sorceria Cultof the Hydra- Campaign Setting Level 1-10
JVC Parry has released a very cool campaign setting on the DMsGuild that will take your players from level 1-10, so it is fantastic as a campaign starter. Josh is known for his solid quality writing and scenario's so don't miss this one!
The wonderfully peculiar Bob Davis has an indiegogo campaign going on about villains next door. This aligns beautifully with our Cults book so we figured this may be of interest.
